I. COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course covers principles involved in installing and managing an Internet Information Server (IIS) either for in-house Intranet or public Internet access. Starting with fundamentals of  IIS and continuing with the administration, students will  also learn how to configure the server to allow for active content, and how to create and access databases.

II. LEARNING OUTCOMES AND ELEMENTS OF THE PERFORMANCE:

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of what IIS is and the various configuration options.

For success of this course, students must complete:

Test #3 paper-based (proctored) 40%

Final grade will be assigned as a percentage. The home college will determine the grade letter.
